Esem Projects were commissioned by Liverpool City Council to develop the 'Visions of Peace' project. A unique fusion of historical commemoration and digital place making, Visions of Peace highlights Liverpool’s role in connection to Australia’s WW1 history, and the continued importance of peace in our lives today.
Visions of Peace project (1-11 Nov 2018) will be on display throughout Liverpool. LGHS students contributed their personal stories, creative artworks and reflections on what peace means to them. Many students who contributed to this project have migrated with their families to Liverpool from places of conflict. Liverpool is a place of peace to them.
